In the Coptic Orthodox tradition, a home blessing is a pastoral visit during which a priest prays for God's protection, peace, and blessing upon the home and everyone who lives there. It also provides an opportunity for the priest to get to know the family, strengthen his pastoral relationship with the congregation, and offer spiritual guidance and encouragement.
